Exhibition : Alfred Dreyfus vérité et justice

Updated: Jul 29

At the Musée d'Art et d'Histoire du Judaïsme

Through to August 31st,2025.

This exhibition revisits the Dreyfus Affair and highlights the major milestones of this crucial moment in French history, which led to the consolidation of the Republic and the law separating Church and State. Nearly 250 archival documents, photographs, film excerpts, and around sixty works of art by artists such as Gustave Caillebotte, Camille Pissarro, and Édouard Vuillard, allow the public to better understand the Affair and place the protagonist at the centre of the narrative. Alfred Dreyfus will be pardoned in 1899 and rehabilitated in 1906 after twelve years of a long struggle.
