Grande Halle de la Villette
Through to August 31st, 2026.
This is an extraordinary exhibition. At the Grande Halle de la Villette, come and share a fascinating experience centered around the Titanic. A mythical floating palace designed to cross the seas, its sinking left a lasting mark on history in 1912. The exhibition retraces both its grandeur, life on board, and the tragedy that made it legendary. More than a museum visit, it is an invitation to discover a remarkable moment in history.
From the moment they enter, visitors become passengers of the famous White Star Line, boarding the Titanic. Virtually welcomed by Captain Smith himself, they embark from a reconstruction of the port of Southampton.
This exhibition-event uses an augmented reality app (available in several languages) and immersive technologies: projections, interactive tables, 360° video mapping… Throughout the journey, discover a unique collection of period clothing, luxurious objects from other ships of the company, and original props from James Cameron’s film Titanic (1997).
The visit of the liner continues with a stroll through passageways, corridors, cabins, and various iconic spaces on board, made possible by immersive digital experiences. A fun exhibition for all audiences, blending wonder and tragedy.
