The Château de Chantilly celebrates Rosa Bonheur with a unique exhibition devoted to her passion for horses. Presented across the Musée Condé and the Musée Vivant du Cheval, the exhibition brings together drawings, paintings, photographs and archives that reveal the artist’s exceptional vision of this iconic animal. From her celebrated the "Marché aux chevaux" to the horses that inspired her own work, the exhibition explores her meticulous approach, her mastery of movement and her profound connection with the animal world, while also highlighting her friendship with the Duke of Aumale, one of her greatest admirers.
